  Amazing Chocolate Cake

I found the basic recipe in an old cookbook my family's had forever and "tweeked" it almost beyond recognition so it tastes "amazing". Its not overly sweet or rich, so it pairs really nicely with some nice and light home made chocolate mousse. Some steps might seem a little weird and the batter is super runny, but I get requests to make this thing all the time and it tastes really good so its worth the weirdness :p

This recipe takes a few special ingredients that can be found at Whole Foods Market or other Co-op type grocery or a health food store such as GNC. Amazon also carries the more special ingredients.

Would also be good with chocolate ganache, a thin white icing or glaze or even just sprinkled with chocolate chips while hot. *i used hershey's special dark cocoa- it's a mix of dutch and regular unsweetened so i think either
