  How Do They Fly?

Ever wonder how sugar gliders and flying squirrels fly? You know they don't have wings, but how exactly do they fly from tree to tree?

They have extra skin, or a membrane, attaching their front and rear legs called patagium. This membraneenables them to create a parachuteeffect to catch a breeze and soar.

They are unable to just jump off the ground and fly, but can glide quite a distance between trees when they jump off a high branch. Southern flying squirrels can glide up to 150 feet!

  Wolfdog Diseases

It's so sad to see a litter of wolfdog puppies die one by one from Distemper.

This is justa reminder to anyone who owns, breeds, wants to own or breed, or knows someone who owns or breeds wolfdogs to vaccinate their wolfdogs.

Most veterinarians will seewolfdogs and have no problems with vaccinating them like other canines. So if you think there is no need to prevent Distemper in wolfdogs because they can't get it, please know they can, and do.
